If Orlen will be prominent on our car then red will surely feature.

All we need now is a little yellow to start things of livery wise... if we are going the standard blue&white with Orlen red!

A good designer would make the Orlen Hawk an integral part of the livery. Though considering williams is lately in stripes I expect much of the same boring thing.

Thought i would kick this off considering my assessment prediction in pre season testing of the FW41.

I knew the FW41 was a dog after just its first 2 hours of track time in 2018 pre season testing.

It really did only take me 2 hours of running in the fist test of 2018 for me to know the FW41 was a dog.

Found the first of people thoughts on FW42 colour schemes.

FW42 Concepts

My personal preference would be to try and move away from a white car. I liked the Williams back in the days when there was all colours.

That's too futuristic for us

I think a 2006 livery is the most possible one & I won't get disappointed by it though my favorite Williams livery is Bmw one (Hp era)

I don't like that livery you linked Andrew. I find it too messy.

I prefer simpler ones, as Mehryar said the BMW era is the best one, but I prefer the 2000 one. Then it got worse every season.

That car is equipped with a defective set of Pirelli Tyres.

Yes I would agree about that concept but I thought I would just put it out.

It will be interesting to see how the Orlen brand is put on the car as in all the images I have seen it is red. Maybe we will have a car that has red white and blue.

Sort of like the 2011 - 2012 colours when they had PDVSA sponsorship.

I wouldnt mind us using our testing livery with some red & white bits and pieces slapped in few different places.

I am thinking the new new car should get an early shake down maybe around the 8th of Feb

we started designing this car so early last year we must use all time available to
see how it behaves before tests..

more likely to shakedown just before it gets shipped to barcelona, my money on silverstone on 15th Feb.

i am not sure we want to leave it that late again this time out.

I always wonder why introducing a new car as late as possible is a good option. I understand the idea that it gives the teams more time to develop and study parts, but that is in the tunnel and CFD? At the same time they are continuing the design philosophy and preparing new parts for the first race etc.

Wouldn't it be better to get the basic car right first, make sure it works and then have time to develop additional parts for the first race, knowing how the car functioned on track. I just remember the car last year, reportedly good numbers in the tunnel and, well...we know the rest.

Anyway, perhaps the more clued up can sate my curiosity as to why later is better.
