You suprised us with your WDC in 2005-2006. Even in 2001-2002 were just laughing at you in Minardi.

Kimi + Alonso + Montoya = My F1 Legend!!

I find it terrible that someone with Alonso's talent only ever won 2 WDC's.

It is just f#king wrong that a man of Alonso's talent only ever won 2 WDC's...thumbs up

Hamilton & Vettel are going to have 5 or 6 WDC's and Alonso only ever won 2.There is something very wrong with this picture for this to happen.

Alonso was as good as Hamilton & Vettel but less than half the WDC's than what they have got.

Something seriously wrong with this picture...(Sm17)

It's been red bull and Mercedes winning for... How long? Can't even remember. Any move a driver made outside of those two teams could be viewed as a mistake. In hindsight at least.

Replace Fisi with Webber and Webber is a 2X WDC. Falvio is the best thing that happened to Fred.

Webber was really strong, intelligent and quick but never WDC material. In the same mould as Rosberg, oh wait...

No oh wait. Flavio favored Fred over Webber, as both driver's manager. That Fred suffered from the same arrogance that saw Flavio's demise is I suppose poetic justice.

So if Mark was team mate with Alonso, he could be a WDC? Lol! Why bother to try Renault? He had 4 seasons of a title winner underneath himself and could not even finish runner up to Seb! Oh...seb! Not a Hamilton or Alonso....Even Rosberg could make in 1 out of 3 shots at the title, but Mark failed.
Interesting to see after so many years, his fans just get into more fantasy....If there ever was a correct thing he did in F1, was to not partner Alonso in a team or he could vanish from F1 scene sooner & not being able to win a few races.

I have said it before Mehryar and I will say it again, Vettel only won 4 WDC's at Red Bull because he had a weak team mate,...Webber was a weak team mate if Vettel had Alonso, Hamilton or Ricciardo as his team mate at his time at Red Bull Vettel would not be a 4 times WDC.

Meyhar, what you need to ask yourself, is would you want a toxic driver like Fred on your team?

Fred has burnt bridges in F1 and I doubt he can gain a drive in the Indy Series. But as mid-field driver with talent there are many who can fill his shoes.

Frank has had a few himself as you point out.

Well, your post goes to another topic. My question was clearly about your claim that if Flav chose Mark over Fisico, he was a 2times world champion. It means he was going to beat Alonso in same car! No he wasn't...05 & specially 06 seasons were much tighter than the dominance RBR had for most of those 4 years and also Alonso was equal or better than Seb....So there was no way on earth to think a guy who failed to win a title in a dominant car with an easier team mate, goes on to take the fight with Alonso and Schumacher to be world champion...talking about whether one wants Fernando in his team or not is irrelevant to what you claimed about a B-class driver.

----------------

Anyway, regarding his toxic attitude...it's one of those bs things which covers 90% of facts in F1.
Yes he had a bad relationship with Lewis and Mclaren. It failed with Ron's team but who else didn't? Prost? Mansell? JPM?
Other than that there is no talk from his Bosses in Renault (who exactly said opposite of this attitude problem) or Ferrari or his second phase with Mclaren.in fact the level of support he had for his teams down time was unique for a 2 times wdc.Just compare it with JV comments in mediocre cars he had or Seb with 14 RbR.There's only one wdc who moans less than Alonso and that's Kimi.
So what is the base for such claim? Horner's comments? Has he ever worked with Fernando? Or is he even reliable enough to judge what is fair and what is not? Multi21? Turkey2010? switching Mark's front wing in Silverstone? Honestly, is this guy your refrence?
I go for Pat Symond's comments or Flavio.both worked with Alonso so they know what they're talking about.

Btw, about Indy not wanting him, well it's a year Andretti asks him to join full time.the best team...if he doesn't join is not about if Indy want him or not, it's about whether he likes to drive in those series or not.

Max Verstappen is a way more toxic driver than what Alonso is.

Don't agree with that Whitey. Yes he's got his old man pressing buttons and Horner etc. seem to love him but he is in no way a political mover like Freddo is. He isn't smart enough for a start. Or stupid enough.

Alonso isn't THAT toxic. He's outspoken and critical, sure, but toxic? I don't see his teams crumbling around him. If anything, they punch above their weight when he's behind the wheel. He makes his team look better.
